Our 2nd race of the year was a nonpoints race at Freedom with Mr. Mud. A great crowd was onhand to enjoy a cool day of racing in the mud. With all the cars repaired and all our team members mended we set out again.
In the second heat Bill and Wayne ran strong to finish 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The feature saw Bill bolt for the lead, only to have fuel pump issues that again knocked him out early. Wayne and Lisa would soon join on the sidelines with other mechanical problems, leaving only Barb to finish in 3rd place. thankfully it was a non-points race.
